1. The service
BuyVinHistory ("we", "us") sells vehicle history reports for vehicles identified by a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Reports are compiled from third-party data sources and delivered electronically.
2. Independence and trademarks
BuyVinHistory is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by CARFAX, Inc. CARFAX is a registered trademark of CARFAX, Inc. Other trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the source of the data.
3. Ordering and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include all fees. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store card details. By placing an order you confirm that the VIN and email address you entered are correct.
4. Delivery and access
Reports are delivered on-screen and by email link immediately after payment. Links remain valid for 30 days. You are responsible for saving a copy if you need it longer.
5. Refunds
See our refund policy. In short: no report, no charge; failed delivery, automatic refund; delivered reports are non-refundable.
6. Permitted use
Reports are for your personal or internal business use in evaluating a vehicle. You may not resell, republish, scrape or systematically redistribute reports or the data in them. Automated or abusive use of the service may be blocked.
7. Accuracy and liability
Vehicle history data depends on what has been reported by third parties; not every event in a vehicle's life is reported. Reports are provided "as is" and should be used together with an independent inspection. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report concerned.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your order.
